During my time at Falmouth I have experimented with the intricacies of thread. Enjoying every moment of building up an image using such a delicate technique. I have been honoured to have some of my work, which tackles topical issues such as eating disorders and mental health published

I was lucky enough to be involved in the Craftivist collective project in my second year at Falmouth. My work was selected and published as a online blog. The project was about raising awareness of dementia which is a cause close to my heart.

 

This project allowed me to combine my love of stitching with my passion for helping people deal with difficult social issues and recognising those early signs of dementia and seeking the right help and support.
